Salary Range: USD $76,835 – $141,477 / year

Job Summary:

DCS Corp seeks a highly skilled Data Links/Networking Engineer to support the Special Operations Forces/Personnel Recovery (AFLCMC/WIS) directorate. This role focuses on engineering and consultation for data links, network interoperability, and systems integration in a DoD environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering and consultation for the design, development, integration, and deployment of data links and networking subsystems for air-to-air and air-to-ground communications.
• Support data link messaging development and sustainment (J-Series, K-Series, and VMF) compliant with MIL-STDs -6016 and -6017.
• Develop and maintain network architectures and processes to achieve Air Force Systems Interoperability Testing (AFSIT) and Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) certifications.
• Assist with documentation, performance requirements, and modifications affecting flight mechanics and system-level integration.
• Provide advisory support in systems integration, OSS&E, airworthiness (MIL-HDBK-516), and safety standards (MIL-STD-882), and lifecycle engineering per AFI 63-1201.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship required due to sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
• Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with 12 years of relevant engineering experience, including 6 years in specialty areas (systems, flight systems, avionics, software, or test for DoD).
  • OR Master’s Degree in an engineering field with 12+ years of experience and 6 years in specialty areas for DoD.
  • Other ABET-accredited engineering degrees may qualify with 8 of the required 12 years in avionics, software, or test.
• Clearance: Active DoD Secret security clearance.
