Salary Range: $116,160.00 - $130,680.00
Bonus: 12.5% quarterly (negotiable)

Job Description

The Plant Engineer is responsible for ensuring the highest level of equipment reliability by implementing and maintaining the plant's maintenance processes. This role focuses on safety, compliance, and equipment performance, contributing to the overall plant leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a comprehensive safety process, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Implement a reliability-centered maintenance process to drive machine uptime, improve OEE, and reduce operational costs.
  • Oversee the maintenance department to achieve high standards of equipment performance.
  • Identify and support technical training for department employees.
  • Scope and execute capital projects, participate in annual budgeting, and manage department expenditures.
  • Apply root cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and prevent failures.
  • Collaborate with the plant leadership team on process improvements and performance standards.
  • Support continuous improvement activities within the plant.

  • You have a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and can implement safety countermeasures.
  • You are skilled in leading and developing collaborative teams.
  • You possess excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • You are proficient in Root Cause Analysis techniques such as FMEA, 5Why’s, and ATS.
  • You have basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and predictive maintenance processes.
  • You are experienced in managing costs and optimizing maintenance processes.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with CMMS.
  • You have 3+ years of experience leading a plant maintenance department in an industrial manufacturing environment or 5+ years in a supervisory role.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of successful experience leading a plant maintenance department.
  • Experience with CMMS and TPM or reliability preferred.
