Location: Lewiston, ID
Salary Range: $134,118 - $201,177 (Includes a $20,000 signing bonus with a 2-year commitment and full relocation package)
Travel Requirement: No travel required
Job Type: Full-time, In-Person
Hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacy Director to oversee our pharmacy operations in a leading healthcare facility. This senior-level position will focus on enhancing patient care through effective pharmacy management and collaboration with medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate pharmacy services through communication with medical, nursing, and other hospital staff.
  • Actively participate in committees such as Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Antimicrobial Stewardship, and Medication Safety.
  • Review, revise, and monitor policies and procedures to improve pharmaceutical care delivery.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Administer personnel functions including performance evaluations, staffing schedules, and staff development.
  • Maintain necessary records and documentation in compliance with laws and hospital policies.
  • Oversee inventory management and collaborate with Material Management for supply chain initiatives.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  1. Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
  2. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Idaho.
  3. Current BLS certification.
  4. Minimum of five years of hospital pharmacy experience, with at least three years in a director-level role.
  5. Strong operational expertise and willingness to cover staffing as needed.

Nice-to-Haves:

  1. Experience in a Level 3 Trauma facility.
  2. Strong business acumen and accountability-driven approach.
