Job Title: Maintenance Controls Technician

Position Type: Long Term contract Onsite
Salary: $32.89 – $39.00 per hour
Job Description: Join our Maintenance Team as a Maintenance Controls Technician, where you will enhance process reliability, product quality, and overall plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult technical documentation such as schematics, manuals, and standards.
- Maintain backup and revision documentation for control systems and instrumentation.
- Manage SCADA devices in an industrial environment.
- Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain control and measurement instrumentation (pneumatic, analog, digital).
- Configure and program PLCs and PACs.
- Order and organize PLC control components.
- Collaborate with IT staff on network and computer activities.
- Prepare technical reports and manage projects for equipment changes and improvements.
- Perform installation and termination of electrical, pneumatic, and fluid connections.
- Inspect, test, and diagnose faults in instruments and systems.
- Calibrate components and assist with plant design, modification, and hazard analysis.
- Maintain computer-based control systems and perform scheduled maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with PLC logic and programming, especially Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Ability to create and read logic and flow diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional time management.
- Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
- Willingness to be on call to support production needs.
