Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Electronic Technician/PLC Tech to join our team in Pleasant Prairie, WI. In this role, you will be integral to supporting manufacturing operations by maintaining and enhancing the reliability of electronic equipment. Your focus will be on preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of motors, conveyor systems, and other production machinery. You will also contribute to process improvement and problem-solving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic, digital equipment, and AC/DC motors & controls.
  • Use logical methodologies for equipment fault analysis and calibration.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
  • Work with PLC logic programming to troubleshoot production equipment.
  • Replace failed parts or components and adjust equipment to meet operational specifications.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.

Must-Haves:

  1. Manufacturing machine experience with PLC (technical side, not programming).
  2. Experience with 3-phase and AC/DC motor drives.
  3. Ability to read and interpret schematics.

General Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical degree preferred.
  • Strong background in electronics.
  • Proficiency with computer skills (Microsoft Office, CMMS, Excel).
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-speed environment.
  • Must pass written and hands-on certification tests.

  • Maintain a learning attitude to stay current with maintenance procedures.
  • Report all accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Follow safety procedures to prevent injury and maintain safe equipment.

Physical/Environmental Demands:

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of working in an industrial maintenance environment.
  • Adhere to environmental rules and handle materials to minimize environmental impact.

Interview Steps:
