Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Senior Behavioral Health Unit
Location: Watertown, WI
Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift (36 hours/week; Weekend Program: Friday-Sunday)
Salary: $54,300 - $63,700 per year
Sign-On Bonus: $7,500

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Senior Behavioral Health Unit specializing in providing care for elderly patients facing mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.

Position Highlights:

  • Work in a 15-bed inpatient psychiatric unit as part of a collaborative care team.
  • Partner with Registered Nurses, mental health technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to improving the lives of patients through personalized, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and monitor patients' conditions under the supervision of physicians or RNs.
  • Document observations, illnesses, and injuries in accordance with care plans.
  • Maintain patient rooms, restock supplies, and ensure equipment functionality.
  • Support a multidisciplinary team focused on providing exceptional behavioral health care.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certification: CPR (AHA Healthcare Provider) required at hire or within 60 days.
