About the Role
National Park Medical Center is seeking an experienced Director of People Services to lead the development and execution of HR strategies, focusing on recruitment, employee relations, and talent management. This senior leadership role will play a critical part in building and maintaining a positive, family-friendly workplace environment, while supporting organizational goals through effective people practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programs to enhance employee relations and improve workplace culture.
• Oversee recruitment strategies and staffing plans to attract top talent and ensure optimal retention.
• Lead and supervise training programs aimed at developing leadership skills and improving overall employee performance.
• Address workplace issues, including employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, providing strategic guidance to resolve matters effectively.
• Manage HR operations including policy development, onboarding, and budgeting, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, talent acquisition, and leadership development.
• Certification: SHRM-CP, SPHR, or other HR certifications preferred; Master's degree is a plus.
• Healthcare Experience: Preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive, productive work environment.
