Job Title: Refrigeration Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift

Salary: $31.70 – $45.07 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for logging maintenance activities, ensuring effective operation of refrigeration systems, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness in refrigeration machine rooms and project areas.
- Interpret plans, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures and work schedules for repairs and maintenance.
- Support management of outside contractors for service and repairs.
- Conduct general building repairs and electrical troubleshooting.
- Comply with safety standards and maintain documentation of work.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in refrigeration, ammonia, electrical, or HVAC.
- Associate Degree in Refrigeration, Ammonia, HVAC, or Electrical preferred.
- Basic math skills and computer knowledge required.
- Ability to work in temperatures of 35°F or below for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift 40-60 pounds and stand/walk on cement floors during shifts.
- Willingness to obtain OSHA Level A Hazmat Certification and RETA Certification within specified timeframes.
