Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of various industrial production and processing systems. If you are experienced in working with PLCs, AC drives, industrial equipment, and automation systems, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with all safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
- Partner with the Engineering team to install, test, and release equipment for production and processing systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment for industrial production, processing, pipeline distribution systems, and conveyors.
- Work with various PLCs, including EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, and DeviceNet.
- Troubleshoot and calibrate AC drives, motors, encoders, resolvers, and other equipment.
- Perform calibration on flow, level, pressure, and temperature devices and loops.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, work orders, and error messages.
- Use tools and equipment such as hoists, lifts, grinders, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and testing devices to perform repairs and maintenance.
- Inspect parts for wear and damage, and observe machinery during operation to detect malfunctions.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial maintenance and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs and automation systems (EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet).
- Experience with AC drives, motors, encoders, and troubleshooting electronic controls.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, rotating equipment, and conveying systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
- Proficient in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to work with different types of industrial processing and manufacturing systems.
Requirements:
- Experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, and automation systems.
- Ability to work with various tools and equipment for machine repair and calibration.
- Comfortable working with PLCs, AC drives, and other industrial systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy parts and equipment as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
