Qualifications:
- Active CPA license with 5-7 years of experience in public accounting tax work.
- Experience in the Construction or Manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Ability to explain complex tax concepts and keep up with industry changes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to address issues with solutions.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring staff.
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
- Authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship).
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the completion of individual and business tax returns, meeting all required deadlines.
- Review, approve, and sign tax returns for release to clients.
- Coach and mentor staff to develop their skills and careers.
- Gather relevant tax-related information from clients to prepare accurate tax returns.
- Review tax situations from multiple angles to ensure maximum tax benefits.
- Build relationships with clients and attract new business opportunities.
- Manage billing and client service.
