Salary Range: $76,162 - $141,442 per annum
Signing Bonus: Negotiable


Primary Purpose of Position:

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that equipment and systems comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. You will be responsible for tracking engineering expenses, capital budgeting, and supporting the design, installation, modification, and maintenance of plant equipment and facilities. Your efforts will focus on enhancing production efficiency and quality while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Continuous Improvement & Cost Reduction:

    • Utilize continuous improvement tools to analyze product irregularities and recommend solutions.
    • Facilitate cost-reduction initiatives and support training and instruction for team members.
    • Provide day-to-day floor support to address technical issues and improve product costs.
  2. Performance Analysis & Technical Support:

    • Identify performance issues through technical analysis of products and processes.
    • Assist in waste and cost reduction strategies.
    • Support in preparing cost estimates, justifying projects, preparing budgets, and overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment.
  3. Safety & Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and other regulatory requirements by working with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) teams.
    • Implement and improve communication and practices related to safety and compliance.
  4. Contractor Management:

    • Participate in contractor management processes and audit contractor work to ensure adherence to safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
  5. Technical Research & Equipment Management:

    • Research and evaluate new equipment, systems, and processes to advance plant operations.
    • Gain a comprehensive understanding of equipment and systems to support effective plant management.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering with a focus on manufacturing or related fields.
  • Prior experience in equipment design, project engineering, or plant management is preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in using computer-based technology and interpreting technical CAD drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to understand electrical and mechanical diagrams.
  • Experience in programming, debugging, and troubleshooting programming languages.
  • Knowledge in designing and understanding modern safety control systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical control system design.
