Salary Range: $67,208 – $124,816 per annum
Signing Bonus: Negotiable

Primary Purpose of Position:

The Electrical Engineer will assist and lead efforts to ensure that equipment complies with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include tracking engineering expenses, capital budgeting compliance, and supporting the design, installation, modification, and maintenance of plant equipment and facilities. The role supports engineering and maintenance teams to enhance production quality while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance & Support:

    • Ensure equipment adheres to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
    • Track and manage engineering expenses and capital budgeting.
    • Assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of plant equipment, buildings, and facilities.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Apply continuous improvement tools to analyze product irregularities and recommend cost-reduction solutions.
    • Support training and provide day-to-day floor support.
  • Performance Analysis:

    • Identify and address performance issues through data analysis and technical knowledge.
    • Assist in preparing cost estimates, justifying projects, preparing budgets, and overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of equipment.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements by collaborating with EHS teams and implementing MSRs (Management System Requirements).
    • Support contractor management processes and audit contractor work for compliance with safe work practices.
  • Innovation & Research:

    • Research and evaluate new equipment, systems, and processes to improve plant operations.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role, preferably with experience in manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Equipment design experience and project engineering or project management experience are preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in using computer-based technology, programming, debugging, and troubleshooting machine problems.
  • Understanding and design of modern safety control systems and electrical diagrams.
  • Ability to interpret and create technical CAD drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and troubleshooting.
