Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and multi-craft Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team at a state-of-the-art tire manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will effectively troubleshoot and maintain a variety of industrial manufacturing equipment, ranging from heavy-duty machinery to automated robots, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain electronic, mechanical, and electrical systems in the production area.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on various equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on production machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Lead and support safety initiatives in accordance with OSHA and VPP standards.
  • Collaborate with the Area Maintenance Supervisor to develop and implement maintenance strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • Must be Multi-Craft (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or 3 years of experience with an Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance.
  • Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including both day and night shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Knowledge of 480 Volt and 3 Phase Motors.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Position Fit:

This position supports an assigned production area in a 24/7 production tire plant and directly reports to the Area Maintenance Supervisor.
