Must-Haves
- Participates in proactive maintenance activities such as FMEA’s, RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action), Analytical Troubleshooting (ATS).
- Technically skilled to maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment, including a strong understanding of lubrication principles.
- Technically skilled to troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment.
- Technically skilled to repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment.
- Technically skilled to precision install mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment utilizing OEM specifications.
Nice-To-Haves
- Experience in an industrial environment or military experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment, with experience in PLC troubleshooting and industrial/motor controls.
- Comfortable with mechanical lifts, ladders, kneeling, bending, and twisting; lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in an off-shift position with rotating shifts that may require overtime, including weekends.
Job Description
Position: Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician/Electro Mechanic
Location: Chatham, NY
Pay: $29.52 - $32.93
Shift: Swing shift - alternates weekly between 7 am - 3 pm and 3 pm - 11 pm or straight 3rd shift
$2,500 Sign-on Bonus paid in 90-day increments

Key Responsibilities:
- Installing and maintaining auxiliary equipment as required by production.
- Maintaining and repairing utility and facility-related equipment as directed.
- Assisting/training other maintenance personnel with repairs and PMs.
- Collaborating closely with other departments for proactive problem resolutions.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Managing small projects to maintain or upgrade equipment.
- Performing all duties in support of quality and safety policies.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Understanding and following safety policies and procedures, performing all tasks safely.
- Identifying safety risks and working to reduce them.
- Creating, documenting, and performing preventive/predictive maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Communicating effectively with operations personnel to resolve equipment conditions.
- Participating in proactive maintenance activities such as FMEA’s, RCCA, ATS.
- Documenting work done for future analysis.
- Maintaining strong housekeeping principles.
- Identifying and utilizing proper tools for each job.
- Precision welding based on application requirements.
- Reading and understanding mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
- Improving reliability of equipment and assisting in identifying opportunities for improvement.
