Job Description

We are currently seeking motivated and skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Zeeland, MI. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant. We offer competitive compensation and a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000. Pay is based on experience and is provided on a weekly basis. Both day and night shifts are available to accommodate various schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Support: Provide support with moderate supervision to ensure safe and effective operation of equipment.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Emergency Repairs: Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Safety: Ensure safety in applying knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
• Interaction: Effectively interact with plant personnel to achieve plant and individual goals.
• Downtime Reduction: Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.

Requirements:

• Education and Experience: At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or 1 year of industrial maintenance education (e.g., industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in a technical school) in lieu of experience.
• Skill Levels: Positions available at Associate, General, and Senior Maintenance Technician levels; leveling determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently; stand on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours per day; work in confined and tall spaces; walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop. Temperatures inside the plant may vary from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees.
