Job Title: Senior Property Tax Analyst
Location: Rochester, NY 14423
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 annually

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Tax Analyst to join our team. This position reports directly to the Property Tax Manager and is integral to managing and ensuring compliance with property tax regulations for all retail locations across the United States. The role requires an on-site presence in Rochester, NY for 3-4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file personal property tax returns accurately and timely, utilizing Microsoft tools to gather and analyze data.
• Manage and process property tax obligations, including payments and compliance tracking.
• Respond to inquiries from taxing jurisdictions and support audit processes.
• Integrate and optimize property tax software within the organization.
• Assist with forecasting property tax liabilities and review assessments for accuracy.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and handle special projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property tax or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Analytical skills with a solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.

Specialized Skills:

• Ability to handle challenging situations with a focus on problem resolution.
• Proficiency in researching, interpreting, and applying technical guidance to business scenarios.
