Job Title: Maintenance Technician Generalist - 2nd/3rd Shift

Location: Omaha, NE, US (Onsite)

Salary: USD $23.95 – $34.20 / hr (Shift increases: $0.75 for 2nd shift, $1.75 for 3rd shift; potential for overtime)

Job Overview:

We are seeking Maintenance Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts at our Omaha, NE facility. This role offers a competitive pay scale, opportunities for advancement, and excellent benefits. The facility operates five days a week with potential for overtime and produces bacon and bacon toppings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of electromechanical equipment in a food processing environment.
• Provide technical support across all phases of operation.
• Read and interpret technical and training manuals.
• Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and maintain accurate records.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and comply with safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
• Rotate through various positions as needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency in multiple skill clusters including basic electrical, electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, welding, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
• Engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, and reaching, and be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of maintenance work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance training program.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to understand technical and training manuals.
• Previous experience, special training, and formal education in a mechanical capacity preferred.

• Shift increases: $0.75 for 2nd shift, $1.75 for 3rd shift.
