Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manager-Finance to oversee and manage key financial processes within our organization. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets Accounting, Cash Flow projection, and Month-end closing activities. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP, financial compliance, and asset accounting, as well as the ability to effectively coordinate with internal teams and manage financial reporting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable Management: Oversee Accounts Payable processes, including import and local payments, vendor advance processing, and tracking.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with TDS/TSC and other statutory requirements.
  • Fixed Assets Accounting: Manage Fixed Assets accounting, including CWIP follow-up, AUC settlement, and capitalization according to local and US GAAP. Conduct monthly reviews of CWIP with project and engineering teams.
  • Cash Flow Projection: Prepare and manage cash flow projections related to Accounts Payable.
  • Month-End Closing: Handle month-end closing activities, including reporting and reconciliation related to Accounts Payable and Capex.
  • Reconciliation: Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliation control and follow-up on remediation.
  • Depreciation Calculation: Perform quarterly depreciation calculations in accordance with the Income Tax Act.
  • Audit Participation: Prepare schedules and actively participate in statutory and tax audits.
  • Board Meeting Preparation: Compile and prepare data for quarterly board meetings, including Capex and other MIS information.
  • Asset Management: Conduct physical verification of assets and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Must-Haves:

    • Proficiency in Accounts Payable, SAP, and understanding of Duty/Freight/Clearing (DFC) in SAP.
    • Knowledge of asset accounting processes, including financial close in SAP.
    • Experience with CWIP aging analysis and depreciation calculation differences between income tax and local GAAP.
    • Ability to prepare schedules for tax audits.
  • Nice-To-Haves:

    • Strong English communication skills.
    • Experience with Capex projects and stakeholder communication.
    • Understanding of invoice booking and problem-solving knowledge.
